With the plethora of recent Equine Herpes Virus outbreaks across the east coast, the NJDA has provided information regarding biosecurity measures to be taken if you or your horse is suspected to have come in contact with an infected animal.
Don’t forget to post photos in your new equestrian safety gear for a chance to win a swag bag!
Post before Monday, June 13th to be entered into the competition. Be sure to tag us using #RUESC and #NJESW! Winners will be announced on Tuesday, June 14th.
Vests are an important part of safety too! Vests should fit snugly around the torso; extend from your collarbone to the bottom of your ribcage, and to the end of your tailbone. Air vests should only be worn over a traditional foam vest.
