Hay everyone!
If you haven’t heard the news yet, the annual Ag Field Day at Rutgers Day is coming up soon! On Saturday, April 26th from 10am to 4pm, join the fun and come see what the Rutgers Equine Science Center is all about! In case you didn’t know, Ag Field Day takes place on the Cook Campus here at Rutgers, while there are so many different types of events all across the university campuses. Kicking off the activities for us at the farm, we have the Animal Handling Shows where students will be showcasing all kinds of animals (including us horses!). The students have worked super hard just for you, so be sure to stop by!
At the Equine Science Center, our big event is our treadmill demonstrations at the Red Barn! The first demonstration takes place at 1pm, and if you can’t make it, there’s no need to worry. We have another at 2pm! Just remember, try your best to get there about 30 minutes before it begins to get a good spot as we expect a big crowd and don’t want you to miss it. Afterwards, feel free to say hello to my four-legged horse buddies all around the farm!
There will be lots of different activities and I even heard from a little birdie that there might be a cookout… so stay tuned for some yummy snacks! We can’t wait to see y’all there and show you what we are about.
Can’t wait to see y’all on Saturday the 26th!
Your friend,
Lord Nelson
